My name is Anna Mercer and I am a registered veterinary nurse with a huge passion to improve ferret welfare.
I have completed an APVN in small mammal and wildlife.
I have kept ferrets as pets for many years and have enjoyed working alongside them in the veterinary and rescue setting.
Recently I have joined the National Ferret Welfare Society as a committee member and I am looking forward to making some real positive changes to help improve ferret welfare in the UK.
Most of my spare time is taken up with all things ferret and I have enjoyed running charity Jill jab clinics, rescue neutering clinics and writing CPD for veterinary professionals.
I was delighted to receive the White Cross veterinary nurse of the year award in 2022.
